Summary

Jesubi is the first web-based solution built from the ground up to drive end-user productivity in the sales organization. This is accomplished while providing tremendous management oversight and insight to campaign and rep activity as well as campaign message receptivity. The start-up mentality is strong at Jesubi and as a result, the opportunities for a motivated, driven individual are great. The team is small but our “whatever it takes” attitude allows us to quickly drive tremendous value for our customers and stake-holders.

Jesubi is looking for a intern to come in and push our engineering practice automation efforts. We are looking to fully integrate our continuous integration server with our defect tracking system, continue to expand our test automation processes and fully automate site and database load testing. We use open source tools for all that we do: Apache Hudson for continuous integration, TestLink for test case management, JUnit/DbUnit for unit testing, Selenium for automated site testing and Apache JMeter for load test automation. Our core product is written in Java and we use MySQL as our database backend. We are heavily invested in Amazon AWS as a platform for hosting our entire application.

The perfect candidate will have a passion for agile software process improvement, a desire to see a process implemented from end to end with as much automation as possible and the technical skills to make it all happen in this Linux based, open source environment.

Responsibilities

Implement the necessary tools to help see our vision of end-to-end automation of our software engineering process.
Manage the execution of these tools during the internship period and make sure there is sufficient documentation available that a seamless transition can occur at the end of summer.
Research new tools, techniques and options that can be applied in our environment to further enhance our automation process.

Required

Good standing as a student pursuing a BA or BS in computer science, software engineering or related program.
Ability to work independently on a Linux system.
Experience (academic or professional) with Java.
Experience (academic or professional) with common web protocols (HTML, JSON, XML)
