Summary

Jesubi is the first web-based solution built from the ground up to drive end-user productivity in the sales organization. This is accomplished while providing tremendous management oversight and insight to campaign and rep activity as well as campaign message receptivity.  The start-up mentality is strong at Jesubi and as a result, the opportunities for a motivated, driven individual are great.  The team is small but our “whatever it takes” attitude allows us to quickly drive tremendous value for our customers and stake-holders.

The Product Development Manager (PDM) is the primary designer of the product features and user interface, taking the requirements provided by the product management team and specifying the design of the application to be built by the engineering team.   The PDM is looked at as the expert on all aspects of product features and functionality.  The PDM is expected to provide the prototypes for all but the most simple user interface elements of the application, setting all of the standards for the user experience.  The PDM is also responsible for all technical product documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support all customer-facing activities as the primary product expert.
  • Set all user interface design standards using current trends and technologies in web based application development to create an effective, simple and compelling application experience.
  • Provide design prototypes for all major features and functions to the engineering team.
  • Facilitate the creation of the primary technical documentation for the product.
  • Assist as required in customer support and troubleshooting activities.

Required

  • Proven skill designing web based applications.
  • Familiarity with major open-source design tools for web based applications.
  • Basic level of familiarity with at least one mainstream sales strategy (SPIN, CustomerCentric Selling, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ideal

  • Experience with the Java technology stack for web based applications.
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Technical writing skills and familiarity with techniques and tools for online publishing of technical documentation.
